Cottages for Rent We invite you to take a virtual tour of Ridgewood Cottages in northeastern Ontario. The camp is located in the Near North vacation area just north of North Bay, south of the town of Temagami on Angus Lake. A beautiful area of many lakes, majestic red and white pines and rocky terrain. Angus Lake is spring fed, quiet, and with short portages into the back lakes it makes exploring easy. As you tour the website you will find information on our accommodations, facilities, activities on site and around the area during each season, pricing, how to contact us as well as a map to Temagami. Ridgewood Cottages is a cottage rental resort offering lots of activities all year long. Temagami Vacation Rentals Ridgewood Cottages is a housekeeping cottage resort comprised of eight cottage rentals, private beach setting with swimming area, diving raft, natural fire pit, and floating sun deck. Most of the cottage rentals are lakeside with a perfect view of Angus Lake. Cottages are equipped with all you need for cooking plus bbq and picnic table which all helps in making your cottaging a success. Family Temagami Vacation Rent the entire resort for a family reunion or holidays, your own space to celebrate any occasion from 10 to 40 people, a great getaway for a group activity or group travel. The availability of renting the whole resort runs from May to July 1st, September to November 1st, with the exception of long weekends. The rest of the time the resort is reserved for our yearly customers. Ridgewood Cottages is a cottage resort that is proud of the service it supplies to our customers and we are more then willing to accommodate our guests needs. Housekeeping cottages on Angus Lake Northern Ontario Cottages Ridgewood Cottage Resort offers clean, well maintained and well equipped housekeeping cottages. The cottages are 1, 2, 3 or 4 bedroom and all have 3 piece bathrooms. There are propane stoves, electric refrigerators with frost-free freezers, all dishes, pots, pans, utensils along with BBQ's and picnic tables. Each cottage has either a screened porch or deck to sit and enjoy the fresh northern air, a beautiful view of the lake and the spectacular sunsets. Clean Northern Lakes The lakes in northern Ontario are clean, refreshing and healthy. Guests take much enjoyment diving off the diving raft, floating on the inner tubes and playing water basketball. Others just like to lay back and catch the rays or read a book with an eye on the bobber on their line. Angus Lake is spring fed and has a clean bottom, children will spend the week playing in sun and sand and sleep well through the night. Northern Evenings A popular spot is the natural fire pit on the beach for everyone to gather on a starry warm night. A northern holiday at the cottage without a fire is just not the same! The floating sun deck comes in handy again as guests lie back and are amazed at the millions of stars in the clear northern sky, and to have the northern lights appear is a breath-taking experience Some activity at our Cottage Resorts in Temagami Ontario HAVE A RELAXING TEMAGAMI VACATION The fresh air and clean waters of northern Ontario draw many people to our area for their holiday fun. Ridgewood is a relaxing environment with a safe sandy swimming area, diving dock, and a large floating sundeck along with canoe, kayaki and paddleboat rentals. Most of our housekeeping cottages are lake front which makes it easy for mom and dad to keep an eye on the youngsters. HIKE UP TO LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN Temagami has a series of marked hiking trails to choose from. The trails range from simple to the more difficult for the experienced hikers. Canoeists will discover that Ridgewood Cottages is in the heart of Ontario's premier canoeing area, regarded as Canada's largest interconnected canoe route system. There are a wide variety of river and lake routes to explore the natural wilderness. FIRE PIT TIME A favorite family holiday gathering spot at the resort for children and adults is the large natural fire pit on the beach. Singing, joking, games and stories are enjoyed and new friendships bloom. You cannot get any better then a roasted hot dog, marshmallows and s'mores done over the hot embers! What did you do the night of the power outage?? Did you go out in the yard to stargaze? In northern Ontario the stars are thick in the night sky, guests have fun picking up on the satellites travelling across, sorting out the different constellations and wishing on falling stars. NORTHERN DAY TRIPS Ridgewood is conveniently located at the halfway point between North Bay to the south and New Liskeard to the north. Day trip to these northern towns for golfing, shopping, or a cruise on the Chief Commanda. Visit museums to learn of our northern heritage - logging and mining, or the home of the Dionne Quints. A large Pow-Wow is held by our native Indian community during the summer and is a definite experience. Arrangements can be made for a tour of the area by air providing an awesome view. There is a day to spend cruising Lake Temagami which includes a delicious shore lunch. SUNBATHE ON THE FLOATING DOCK If a visit to climb our historic Fire Tower and take in the Train Station, which has been reconstructed back to what it was in 1907, is not on your list of " things to do" your Temagami vacation would not be complete. bustle of city living. The cottages are well maintained and very clean. It was
a very relaxing vacation. We'll be back. We had a great time in Temagami this year at your cottages
resort. I thought I would drop a line and thank you for the great vacation we
had at your resort Rick a Moose on his way home I was sleeping so I missed
it. This has been an awesome getaway! The ambiance and special
touches really made our stay an enjoyable experience. Loved the paddleboat and
Kayaki! We will be back to Temagami next year for another great vacation see
you then. We had a wonderful time of recharging and relaxing. What a
beautiful place. We would love to return to see the forest in full color. This
was truly the anniversary gift my husband needed. I would like to thank-you for the weekend we had at your

The cottage is so neat and clean! This is the place we've always dreamed of but have never been

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage and
enjoyed exploring some of the local area. Love the lookout tower and the boat
ride on lake Temagami The cottage is beautiful and so cozy to return to after our
day hiking around! The area is lovely and quiet. It was a nice drive down
Wilson lake road Bill put his canoe into the lake and hooked onto a walleye
with in 5 min. We met the people at Wilson Lake Cottages they were very nice
they show us some nice fishing pic. Thank you for your warm welcome and all the
attention. We shall certainly recommend your cottages to our friends!

Thanks for the use of the kayaki's. I hope you can use some of

arrived, it was just like the website. The fishing in Marten River with
Dougall's Guiding Service was very good. Everyone was very friendly and we had
a great week! One week is not long enough! The cottage was clean and all we
