Size of cottage
Our cottage has five bedrooms, two 3 piece
bathrooms and one 2 piece washroom, a large, well-equipped kitchen and a large
living and dining area. There is also a laundry room with a washer and dryer.
Overall there are over 2000 sq ft. Except for the bathrooms and the laundry
room, we installed solid plank pine floors throughout.
There is a separate granny flat in the house
with a permanent resident.
On the lake side of the cottage four French
doors open onto a large covered porch. From there three steps take you down to
a terrace flanked by rose and flower beds. Another couple of steps lead down to
the lawn, which extends to the sandy beach and the water.
Five bedrooms in the cottage
Four of the bedrooms have double beds, and one
has a queen size bed. Four of the bedrooms have a view of the lake and one
faces the road (a quiet, dead-end residential street).
Kitchen
The kitchen has an electric range with four
burners and a large oven, as well as a range hood fan. There is also a large
refrigerator with a deep freeze compartment, a toaster, a mixer, a mini-oven
and a coffee maker. The kitchen is also equipped with cooking and baking
utensils as well as tableware that guarantee above average food preparation and
dining standards.
Living area
The living area has two couches and several
armchairs. For your entertainment there is a television set (no cable or
satellite dish, just a normal antenna) and a VCR. The mini-stereo has a CD
player and cassette recorder. The book shelves are stuffed with numerous
fiction and non-fiction books in English and in German. You are also welcome to
play our piano.

One of the bathrooms is equipped with a bathtub
(including shower); the other has a shower stall. There is also an additional
main floor washroom.
The cottage is equipped with central air
conditioning, as well as a gas fireplace which conjures up a cozy atmosphere on

birds and butterflies.
- This part of Ontario is famous for the migration of
birds and Monarch butterflies.
A cottage where you can enjoy
- rural life in Ontario.
- There are lots of fruit stands where you can buy
homegrown fruit and veggies like tomatoes, eggplants, corn, pumpkins, berries,
peaches, apples etc.
- Visit the local wineries and taste the bottled sunshine
of the previous year.
A cottage right on the beach
- offers the soothing sound of the waves day and night,
breathtaking sunsets and romantic moonlight reflected on the lake.

- The lake bottom slopes gradually so children can still
stand safely quite a ways out.

like no smoking in the house. But you can enjoy
a smoke on the covered porch facing the lake. We are glad to rent our house to
families with children, but we have a no pets policy. Its not that we do
not like pets but we dont like the calling cards they leave behind!
