Nepewassi Lake is 16 miles long and well known for its quality & variety of fish. Pickerel (walleye), large & small mouth bass, muskie, tiger muskie, northern pike, perch and burbot.

While fishing you will enjoy the beautiful shoreline of tall pines, white birch & colorful maples surrounding the majestic rock formations.

Keep your camera ready for loons, ducks, geese, beavers, otters, turtles and even a moose or bear or deer swimming across the lake or from one island to another.

For the avid hunter, we offer Black Bear Hunting Packages (fall), plus excellent moose and small game hunting on both private and crown land. (Must apply for own adult moose tag in WMU 42).

Our casual & friendly attitude has created the very best atmosphere for your perfect vacation!

Mountain View Fishing & Hunting Lodge is located on the North shore of Nepewassi Lake, where you can enjoy fishing for pickerel (walleye), large & small mouth bass, muskie, tiger muskie, northern pike, perch and burbot. Nepewassi Lake is 16 miles long, narrow and considered one of the cleanest lakes in the area. It is a cool water lake with an average depth of 15' with holes up to 60' deep.

We rent boats & motors and sell gasoline, worms & tackle. For those bringing their own boat, we have an excellent concrete launch ramp & docking space available seasonally, monthly, weekly & nightly. Each cottage has docking space at no charge. We also rent heated ice huts for your ice fishing comfort.

Cottages Rustic, heated housekeeping cottages with lake frontage or lake view. Fully equipped kitchen, 1 to 4 bedrooms (sleeping up to 12 persons), deck, deck chairs, picnic table, fire pit, own docking space. Some available year-round. Cottage # 9 is wheel chair accessible. See rate page for cottage details. We can accommodate large groups.

Trailer Park Sites available annually, monthly, weekly or daily. Hydro all year / water May to October. Sites are various sizes and surrounded by many trees for your privacy. Park open year-round to annually leased sites only. "Clear Your Own" sites available.

We are surrounded by over a thousand acres of Crown Land and the avid hunter will find not only plenty of small game, such as partridge, grouse and duck, but also the bigger game of bear and moose. We offer guided Black Bear hunting packages with sites on both crown land and private property, some sites via motor vehicle and others by boat only.

For the "Photographer Hunter", the wildlife throughout the area also includes red fox, raccoon, beaver, otter, rabbits, many different species of birds and much more!

Directions We are located in north-eastern Ontario, approximately 11 kms (6 miles) south of the town of Markstay and Hwy. 17 via Nepewassi Lake Road.
